Aramis Laser Rejuvenation:
A unique type of laser energy is applied in a series of gentle pulses over the treatment area.
Without damaging the surface, the energy of the laser penetrates and is absorbed by the
deeper skin tissue. This triggers a repair mechanism, and your body begins to rebuild and
replenish your own natural collagen. Results are achieved from the inside out! Your skin will
begin looking younger and softer as your collagen is remodeled.

Patients have a high degree of satisfaction with their results. Over time you will notice
skin texture changes. You will notice that fine and deep lines become less visible and
gradually begin to disappear. Results are achieved with a series of treatments. The average
number of treatments is 3 to 4 over a period of 2 to 3 months. During your consultation, you
will be advised as to the number of treatments recommended to achieve your desired result.
Occasional touch-up treatments may be suggested to maintain or continue your
improvements.
Acne Treatment
To treat acne where it begins, the Aramis™ laser uses a patented wavelength to penetrate
the skin’s layers to the sebaceous glands. The laser thermally alters the reactors in the
sebaceous gland, reducing oil and bacteria production, decreasing the size of the gland and
the incidence of acne.

What will the laser treatment be like?
You and the physician or laser technician will wear protective eyewear during the short laser
treatment. The technician will use a small hand piece to deliver the laser pulses to your skin.
You will feel a cold probe touch your skin. This contact cooling protects the upper layer of
the skin during each laser pulse.

How long does each treatment session last?
Depending on the size of the treated area, a session could last about 30 minutes.

Is it painful?
Most patients report the procedure to be “mild” with little more than a slight snapping or
stinging sensation, like a rubber band. Topical anesthetics are available if you find the
procedure to be uncomfortable.

What are the risks/side effects?
There are minimal risks to this laser procedure. Mild redness is usually seen immediately
after the procedure and typically subsides in a few hours.

A series of four to five procedures is administered, usually two weeks apart. Results are
gradual with an approximate 20% reduction in the number of lesions after each treatment.
The unique contact cooling tip of the Aramis laser protects the skin, with no need for
anesthesia and no associated side effects, ensuring greater comfort and treatment
compliance.
