The Treatment - Laser Hair Removal
The area to be treated is first cleansed and shaven. Controlled pulses of light are then dispersed by the
laser to safely penetrate skin and are absorbed by the unwanted hair follicles. Hair follicles that are in the
growth phase absorb the heat of the laser, which discourages and finally destroys the potential for re-
growth of unwanted hair. It is sometimes necessary for a patient to undergo more than one laser hair
removal treatment because this procedure is most effective on hair follicles that are in the growth phase.

Laser Hair Removal treatment creates a mild sting that is well-tolerated by most patients. No local
