Dr. Cheryl MacDonald founded Bellissima as Saint Joseph’s premier freestanding medical spa and laser center in 2006.  The doctor earned her MD from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1985.  She is board-certified with extensive experience in family practice and emergency medicine, serves as a Berrien County Medical Examiner, and is an associate medical director for Hospice at Home.

In 2000, she began her training in the exciting new field of aesthetics and laser medicine.  She has experience and certifications an all laser treatments and advanced injectables.  Dr. MacDonald worked on the national faculty of Empire Medical Aesthetic Training and of Osyris Medical USA, teaching her colleagues aesthetic procedures.

Patients not only want to be in good health, they also want to enjoy life to the fullest, be fit and minimize the effects of normal aging.  Indeed, patients are now requesting quick, non-invasive procedures with minor downtime and very little risk.
